Manic New Month

Welcome to a new week! And almost a new month.

We've had the pukies around here all weekend. Yuckers! I completely hate when my kids are sick. Especially with that! There's just nothing you can do for them, but rub their elbow and pray you don't get it!

But I've got to give a GIANT shout-out to hubby who spent the bulk of his last two nights putting clothes in the washer.  That's a good man, right there!!

Gals, if you're in the market for a man.  Ask him if he's willing to clean up poop and puke.  It's a marvelous quality!

My weekend was still fun though.  I got to go out to dinner with some amazing blogging friends.  Women who I ADORE.

And what's better than thinking someone is fab-O on their blog (or on TWITTER)...and finding out that they're just as fab-O in person?

I'll just answer my own question.
Nothing.
It's a super rewarding feeling!

ALSO,

In an effort to make this a completely random and un-incorporated post...with no theme....

Here's a couple other things:

  • I rarely crave sweets as much as I do when I catch an episode of biggest loser.
  • The Superbowl might as well be about food and commercials.  'Cause I don't care otherwise.
  • The OWN network wants to "own" every giga-whatever on my DVR.  I'm sorry, but those shows are RIVETING! (Thank you Oprah 25: Behind the Scenes, for confirming that I would rather poop rocks than work there.  Your stress levels make me need a prescription.)
  • I love having my fingernails painted.  Not because it's cute. Because it covers up gunk in my nails.
  • I don't wear my glasses unless I haven't done my make-up.  Even though I TOTALLY should.
  • I don't like to "lose" a game just so my kids can "win."  Suck it up, children.  You're gonna be dealing with it all your life.  I think it's more rewarding for them when they win fair and square!
  • I got caught rockin' out in my car, by myself, to some Britney.  By a car load of male teenagers. And for one of the first times, I felt old and wrinkly, and embarrassed.
  • The only bonus when I stay up uber late, is that the next day, around 8pm....I get CRAZY hyper.  And I do all kinds of awesome dancing, rapping, and all around merriment.  Then I get a migraine.

And in a final attempt to keep your readership, after this RANDOM Manic Monday post.....

How about a printable calendar for the new month.  The month of love.  (in the Ellie G 2011 colors of :Red, black & White)

Mine is already filled up with a mini-vay cay.  A couple days off school.  A hair-cut.  Some fun bloggie ideas.  And, of course, the holiday "of love."  (I ought to exercise somewhere in there too....BOO!)

Sized to fit a regular 8.5x11 sheet.  To use, click on image, enlarge to full size, right click & save to your desktop, and print as you'd like!  Super simple!

The same usual rules apply for LCMF prinatbles:
(Please....personal use only on the printables. Do not re-post without linking back to the blog. Do not alter, remove watermark, or claim as your own. Feel free to e-mail me or announced.greetings@gmail.com with any use questions. Thanks!)

Have a great Manic Monday! And I'll see you tomorrow.

  3. I won't throw a game with my kids either. Now that they're older, there is a certain strategy in choosing games...and more than a few that I know I'll lose!
