Me, Myself & I

Guess what I got in the mail today? A new purchase from Little Miss Momma. And oh am I happy.I've been coveting THIS ring for a long time. And I finally just decided that it wants to live here, with me. And while I was at it. THIS one wanted to come here too.

Have you ever read Ashley's Blog?  It's such a totally fun place to visit.  She is super talented.  Plus, I adore the posts where she writes about her life, and her challenges, and just who she REALLY is.

It makes her seem like a real person, that I'd really wanna "do lunch" with.  And maybe I wouldn't be too intimidated.  She's kinda drop dead gorgeous.

Recently she wrote THIS post about taking photos of yourself.  And I realized that I very rarely appear "in person" on my blog.  I've made a very conscious decision not to include my family's photos.  However, the reason I don't personally show up more often is WAAAYYY more selfish.

I pick apart EVERY photo of myself.  I can tell you things I don't like about them.  I can tell you where every little roll is.  Or how I don't like my lips.

But I should be able to embrace myself a little better.  Yes?

So I decided to suck it up, take Ashley's challenge, and do some self portraits.  But camera style.  Not tortured artist style.  I totally will have my regular face, and not be missing an ear.  (just disregard....if you don't catch that reference.)



Now I first must admit, this is 6 of about 50.  So there were plenty I didn't show, that were less that successful.

But I kind of had a good time with this today!  Thanks for the challenge Ashley!  (and thanks for the rings.  I LOVE them.  And now I'm thinking I missed buying THIS one.  Shoot!  Another order comin' up?)
