Like a Shiny New Penny!

Good day to you, Less Cake {More Frosting} readers.  Pretend I said that in a very proper English Accent.  Then I'll sound super smart!

Today's post might be WAY more exciting for me, then it is for you.....

But, humor me, would you?

LESS CAKE {MORE FROSTING} 

just got a brand new look!

And I couldn't be prouder.

I am kind of in love with it!

It's been in the works for a couple months now, and I finally pulled the trigger and did it!  I might have been shaking a tiny bit when I pushed the "save template" button.

Hopefully you recognize the signature brackets in the new logo.

It's brand new, but still me!

It's kind of like finishing up the painting of a room, and just wanting to walk in the room over and over....so you can be surprised.

I know change is hard!
My poor 8 year old son cried for at least an hour the other day because we got a new microwave.
He just can't handle it.
So if you're that kind of person, I'll give you a few days to get over the shock.

However, I adore change.  I adore a new coat of paint, a new car, a new outfit.  And thus.....I'm pleased as punch!


So, even if it's not that exciting to you, it's super exciting to me.  Like that one year, when I was 8, and my Mom got brand new pans for Christmas.  And she totally got emotional, and I just didn't get it.
But I was happy that she was happy.
Now, of course, I totally get it.
Can you imagine the joy?  New pans? Without permanently encrusted edges?
No wonder she cried.

But I digress.
Here's to change!
