It's Only a Paper Moon....

Hi!  I'm here with a promised LAST MINUTE Thanksgiving idea.
(and stay tuned....there may be a freebie just for you on it's way!!)

It promotes my love for all things EASY, CHEAP, and FAST!

It also promotes my love for all things "no clean-up"

Some of you may be the type to get out all the best china to serve your uber fancy Thanksgiving meal.  And that's great.  (this idea may not be for you!)

I hate to do dishes.  Particularly when it interferes with a holiday.  No one wants to be the one stuck cleaning up!

But I understand wanting a different layer of elegance then just some paper plates for your Turkey Day meal.

Here's what I propose...

Spice up your paper goods!

I started by getting some inexpensive Thanksgiving rubber stamps at Hobby Lobby.  They were 50% off.  And I tried to make sure they were VERY simple, and somewhat modern looking.

I found a new kind of "SOLO" brand paper plates called "Bare".  I am not affiliated with them in any way...I just think these plates are AWESOME!  They are a perfect blank slate.

I used the lightest browns I could find to stamp each plate with a simple Thanksgiving message.  I kind of don't have issue with putting ink on the plates, but if you do, you can also coat the stamp with a food coloring pen (I like AmeriColor pens) and then stamp with that.  It's food safe.

After stamping, I printed off some darling bands and labels to decorate paper napkins and plastic cups.

Who says paper can't be elegant and fancy?  NOT ME!

I think this place setting would please just about anyone, and when you're done...it all goes bye bye without ANY soap or dishwashing!  Yay!
(and PS....please don't comment about how there's no silverware....I realized I only have plastic knives.  Ooops!  Guess it's good to figure that out today, and not tomorrow!)

If you think you'd like to throw away your Thanksgiving mess too....

I'd be happy to share all the trimmings with you!

Click on the printable, and make sure it's at the largest possible resolution. Download to your computer, print...and cut! TAH DAH!! You can also use it to spice up a hostess gift, decorate a centerpiece, anything you can come up with!!

Just don't forget to link back here if you re-post it!

Hope your last minute preparations are going well!

Happy Turkey Day tomorrow!
