Once I read a story about a butterfly in the subway, and today, I saw one! It got on at 42nd and off at 59th, where, I assume, it was going to Bloomingdales to buy a hat that will turn out to be a mistake, as almost all hats are.
It's one of my favorite movies of......ever.
It's a feel good movie that makes my heart happy.
Did I ever mention that I decided a few years ago that watching movies that make me sad, scared, or anxious, just isn't worth it to me? I kind of got older and realized that I mostly only wanna watch movies that make me happy.
So pretty much, it's romantic comedies and animated kid flicks for me.
I know.
But it's true.
Back to that feel good movie. Did you guess it yet?
"You've Got Mail"
With Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.
And seriously, there are parts in that movie that are SO cute. So perfection. I could watch it over and over. And my heart just soars at the end. Every. Time.
And one of my very favorite parts is toward the end, when Tom Hanks character goes over to visit Meg Ryan and she has a cold.
"I love daisies."
"You told me."
"They're so friendly. Don't you think that daisies are the friendliest flower?"
THEY ARE! Aren't they?
I remember one time, about exactly 4 years ago. I had been in the hospital for a week, in pre-mature labor with our daughter. I was tired. Lonely. And sad.
And my husband walked in with a bouquet of white daisies, with a note that said, "don't you think that daisies are the friendliest flower?"
Now that phrase ALWAYS makes me smile. And it always reminds me of spring!
So I was super excited when I decided to add it to my spring decor this year. (and I love how it looks in that teal frame, with it's tray and egg buddies)
I love this one, in particular, because it's pretty small. It's a 'lil 4x6. I printed it out on glossy photo paper here at home. And I'm DYING over how much I love the results. The color looks amazing!
Do you wanna add daisies to your spring decor too? Of course, I won't leave you hangin'.
This printable is sized at 4x6. It won't look optimal if printed at a larger size. To use, click on image, enlarge to full size, right click & save to your desktop, and print as you'd like! Super simple!

Oh my word! It's so weird reading this blog post. I follow the same movie moto. If I wanted to see death and all those things I can just turn on the news. There is plenty of that in the real world so why would I pay to see that. I would rather pay to laugh so hard I pee my undies!

I love "You've Got Mail". I have it on VHS and pop it into the VCR anytime that I am cleaning or need a bit of background entertainment during a project. Maybe it's time I upgraded to a DVD?

This is too cute. But did you notice that 'daisies' is spelled wrong in your framed art? Oops! :)
