Welcome to Manic Monday! The day where, normally, I share a little tid-bit about organizing our Manic Lives with tips that will simplify.
Today, however, in the interest of full disclosure, I am SOOOO un-organized right now. I almost feel like a complete hypocrite sharing an organizing technique. In fact, I WOULD feel hypocritical.
So, instead, today.....
I'm gonna embrace the Manic and just share with you a little bit about what's been going on around here.
The kids and I decided to take off early Friday Morning and visit my Mom. It was so fun to get away for a couple days, and mostly to hit my FAVORITE eateries from my childhood.
Can you believe how yummy that garlic bread looks? Me neither. It is better than I could EVER convey with a camera.
Funny story about this little pizza joint on the USU Campus.....Fredrico's Pizza....it's been there FOREVER.
And I always order my Ham & Cheese salad with 1,000 Island Dressing.
Why? When I order Ranch, or some other dressing, on every other salad I eat....ever.
We finally figured it out, one day, when we realized that my Dad used to take us there all the time as kids. Particularly when my Mom was in bed with difficult pregnancies. And he ONLY ate 1,000 island.
He passed away when I was just 8 years old, so it took a while for us to put those two together. But that's got to be the answer.
The only salad in the world that I eat 1,000 Island dressing on. And I won't eat it with anything else!
So aside from what I've been doing this weekend.
Here's a quick rundown of what you can look forward to at LCMF this week:
- Stay tuned for a ST. PATRICK'S DAY PRINTABLE!! I'm heading to Costco to pick up my print today. And I can't wait to fill my frame with a new poster.
- I have a really great product for Mom's that I'm excited to share with you!
- I got a super AWESOME new creative toy that I'm making all kinds of great stuff with. And you're gonna LOVE IT!
- We have another great installment of "Crafting on a Desert Island" on the way as well
And, in case you missed it....
I got to guest post on the fabulous U-Create last Thursday! The response was OVERWHELMING!! Thank you so much to Kari for letting me come play. And a HUGE thank you to all of you for your support. We have a bunch of new people joining us this week from UCreate.
So many people, in fact, that I LEPT past my goal
of 1,000 followers while I wasn't even looking!
WHAH???
That's kind of a really fun goal for me to reach. And I am so excited about it.....that I have a REALLY GREAT GIVEAWAY coming up to celebrate. STAY TUNED PEEPS! It's gonna be a great one.
And thank you, again, for being so supportive of my blog. And me. You guys are the best!
So, I'm off.
Today I'm going to sit down and make a comprehensive plan for spring cleaning my home from top to bottom before Easter. Can it be done?
You may not actually comprehend the massive goal this would be for me.
I'll be sure to share the deets in upcoming installments of MANIC MONDAY. Until then, you can check some of the past Organization Tips that I've shared.
And finally.....
2 weeks ago I got to visit Southern Utah for a weekend, and while there, I got to go and visit my friend Mandi!
