Luck of the Irish...

My little interchangeable poster frame, is in need of a St. Patty's poster. And yes, I know it's only gonna be in there for 10 days. But still. I wanted it to feel loved.
And I'll get right on a Springy one to fill it next! :)

We don't really decorate for St. Patrick's day around here.  Not much.  We do have a tricky little Leprechaun that comes the night before St. Patty's and leaves shamrocks all over the house.  He also turns the milk green.  And usually uses our potty before he leaves.
How would we know that?
There's "green pee" in the potty.
Okay.
I put 2 drops of food coloring in the toilet before I go to bed.
It's the simplest thing, and the kids think it's HI-LAR-IOUS!

Regardless....
I wanted a little something to put on the wall for the next week or so.  Yes. I should have done it before now.
So sue me.
(If you REALLY wanna sue me....be sure to mention in your lawsuit that my Valentines day decor just came down yesterday.  And not even all of it.  I gotta do the rest today!)

I spent the weekend researching some really inspiring quotes about luck to turn into my wall art.
I found some really great ones about Luck being the time when preparation meets opportunity, and how lucky people are the hardest workers.
Yada Yada, Yada.
I was totally inspired.

But then I came across this completely awesome, and snarky statement from F. Scott Fitzgerald.

And it became my IMMEDIATE winner!

Sometimes I like to display my sarcastic attitude on my wall......for all the world to see!!

I thought I'd share my St. Patty's printable with all my awesome readers.  So I made it up in an 8x10 size for you to have at home.  Maybe you like to display your sarcastic attitude on your wall as well?

Here's the green version that I put in my white frame:

I also made this white version that would look MARVIE in a black frame, or even better....a bright green one!

These printables are sized at 8x10. They won't look optimal if printed at a larger size.  To use, click on image, enlarge to full size, right click & save to your desktop, and print as you'd like!  Super simple!

The same usual rules apply for LCMF prinatbles:
(Please....personal use only on the printables. Do not re-post without linking back to this blog. Do not alter, remove watermark, or claim as your own. Feel free to e-mail me or announced.greetings@gmail.com with any use questions. Thanks!)

The one I used is actually a 16x20 poster that I had printed at Costco.  I am IN LOVE with the 16x20 poster!  It is my new favorite way to decorate for holidays!  I have been changing out the picture each holiday.  And the prints are only around $6.  Such a bargain, for a big print!!

If you are interested in getting the larger size (which also doesn't have the LCMF watermark on it)  You can purchase the digital file from ANNOUNCED GREETINGS for just $5.

Or, you can stick with these 'lil 8x10's which are totally cute too.
Either way.

I am open to admitting that sometimes I am completely annoyed by "other people's luck."
It's true.
And I don't think that makes me bad.
Just human!

  5. HAHAHA! Love this! And I am so doing the toilet food coloring thing. :) Our leprechaun's name is Lenny, and we *might* just keep blaming pesky little things on him year-round. He's become our resident family scapegoat. ;)
